About Ksenia

I come from a movement background, so I place a strong emphasis on embodying the character and working in a psychophysical way. This approach allows actors to connect deeply with their roles through both physical and psychological techniques, helping to create more authentic, grounded performances. I believe that engaging the body is just as important as understanding the text, and I integrate this philosophy into my coaching to help actors fully inhabit their characters. I believe that making bold choices and being generous with your offers is essential for any actor. In my coaching, I will guide you to follow your instincts and trust your creative self. By embracing your unique perspective and taking risks in your performance, you’ll discover new dimensions to your acting that can lead to truly memorable performances. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you feel empowered to express yourself authentically and confidently.

About the lesson

I offer personalised coaching and directing sessions designed to meet your specific needs—whether you're preparing for a drama school audition, need help with a self-tape, or are looking for one-on-one acting classes. My approach focuses on in-depth text work, helping you bring out its full potential and make it truly your own. I also provide practical tips for quickly memorising lines, finding the best warm-up techniques for you, and connecting with what you enjoy most about acting. If English isn’t your first language, I have exercises that will help you connect with the text as if it were your mother tongue—techniques that I still use myself. These methods will enhance your understanding and delivery, allowing you to perform with confidence and authenticity. I teach from my home in Woolwich, online, and I’m also happy to travel within London for an additional travel fee. With experience on drama school audition panels, I understand how stressful the process can be! I’ll help you not only feel confident and prepared but also give you the tools to release tension and stay calm under pressure. My goal is to support you in performing at your best and enjoying the process. Each lesson is tailored to your unique needs and goals, ensuring you get the most out of every session.
