About Andrea

My name is Andrea Beltrán. I lived in London for five years and worked in communication and media. During this time, I realised about the importance of languages and how far they can take you in life workwise and personally. Since I was able to improve my English I started to wonder what can people do to learn languages better and easily and what it takes to flow with this learning process while making it enjoyable.

After this experience in London, I realised I had lost my fear of travelling. Also, meeting people from all over the world had become something as exciting as enriching for me.

When I returned to Spain, I decided I wanted to keep showing my new friends and visitors our culture, costumes and language so I became a tour guide for a while.

Then, I realised how much I liked guiding and teaching and how much I would like to share with others my methods of learning languages with my students while showing them the cultural traits of Spain and my own Spanish lifestyle.

This is how I decided to join a Master's degree in foreign language teaching and managed to acquire all the methodologies and learning psychology background that facilitates the process of teaching. At this point is when I became passionate about language teaching, travelling and cultural exchanges and this is how you can find me here offering Spanish lessons to you

About the lesson

My lessons tend to flow naturally over the needs of my student. After a first contact with my learner I prepare a first session based on his/her communicative needs. For me it is very important to know my student and what he/her likes.

I believe everybody can learn languages and while doing so, we are also embracing the cultures that speak it. Therefore, it is very important for me to share our Spanish cultural traits and the social aspect of language that is going to not only help my student but also foster his/her curiosity and interest for the language and country.
