About Federica
Hi! My name is Federica, most people struggle to pronounce my full name, so feel free to call me Fede... at least until my lessons won't help you with your Italian pronunciation!
I am easygoing as I don't like putting too much pressure on students, but take my job very seriously. I love my language and as with all of the things I am passionate about I feel the need to share it with as many people as possible. My passion for languages grew during my University studies and is still growing as of today. I like to make jokes, learn new things, play games, sing, and dance. In short, I'd love to live my life to its fullest!

I like to teach my lessons in Italian, to provide students with a complete immersion in the language. Body language and pictures can be pretty handy to get to the meaning of new words, but I try to avoid direct translations or excessive and stressful rules to follow. Learning a language is fun, students should be having fun during their classes! I am happy to organize games and different hypothetical interactive situations that can easily catch my students' attention. That said, I can also hold grammatical lessons for upper-level learners who are willing to better understand some linguistic phenomena or try to understand and fix some of their common mistakes. Lessons can last anywhere between 30 mins to 2 hrs. I have previous educational experience with kids, teenagers, and young adults, but I am willing to make Italian teaching my long-term profession, therefore would be happy to start having some adult students as well.
