About Courtney
I have masters degree from Kennesaw State University, I am currently working on my Specialist I. Curriculum and Instruction degree. I have taught pre-k, 1st grade, 4th grade, and now 2nd grade. I am currently in my 10th year of teaching, but I have been in education for twelve years. I really enjoy what I do and love to see the progress that students make.

When it comes to phonics I make phonics and reading fluency fun by adding in music, having students record themselves reading or blending words, and by having students choose a favorite book to pick out unfamiliar words to work with and practice reading fluency with.
