About Chris

Hi, I'm Chris, hopefully your next language teacher :) Come to my classes and learn Spanish and Portuguese interactively, get to know the culture. Instead of memorizing grammar forever, I try to focus on vocabulary and conversation and convey it playfully - be it on Duolingo or Kahoot.

About the lesson

I build the course of the lesson based on well-known textbooks that are easily available. I think it's important to leave a kind of playfulness even with the sometimes dry grammar, so I usually kahoot the words I've learned or support the rewriting of the words in Quizlet. I usually ask them back in the form of an online paper outside of class, the questions of which are discussed and if the student needs it, we can repeat it, and I can also add supporting materials. I also consider it important that, regardless of the level of knowledge, e.g. I should not only practice student tasks to the point of boredom, but also encourage the student to consume the media of the given foreign language, watch series with subtitles, listen to music, and get to know the culture.
