About Maira
I have been around Spanish and English speakers all of my life. The difference you feel when you switch up your languages is astounding only because your accents are able to change as well. I’m currently working on learning Korean, I work at a korean company currently and it’s not as easy as it seems. I feel like if I had someone to tutor me it wouldn’t be so difficult. However I was able to achieve in getting this job due to me being bilingual and being an asset to this company in that manner. Knowing multiple languages boosts your worth in a job as well as your personal life. It truly is two different words you live at once just by being bilingual

as most Hispanics I grew up in a household where Spanish was the first language, I learned to read/write/speak when I was a young as 4. My mother never let us speak English at home, only Spanish. Starting school at 4 years old I was able to learn both languages at once and adapted to both growing up. I know both languages like the back of my hand, so much that I find myself correcting others when they can’t get it right. I love my strong accent Spanish as well as my intellectual sounding English. Knowing both languages have been helpful to me in many ways like earning more in a job, getting hired quicker. So why not help others do the same
