I'm Karina and I became a teacher because I struggled in school everyday. Every lesson was difficult, every assignment was difficult and I was all on my own. That's why I have spent my adult life helping students who are finding school difficult and assisting them to succeed.

My approaching to tutoring focuses on what the student is stuck on the most. For example, a question or aspect of a project is too tricky? Let's break that down, use some sentence starters and go from there. A lesson is either 30 minutes or 1 hour depending on what is needed. I can tutor from year 7 to year 13, as that are the age groups I've been teaching for the past 5 years.
