About Tom

I am a session drummer currently working in Liverpool. I have had the privilege of doing sessions in studios such as 'Real World Studios' with the guitarist from 'The Heavy'. I also have been involved in many sessions at the Motor Museum in Liverpool and The Arch, Southport. I have had my drumming feature for songs on Radio 1 etc. Up until recently I played in a Punk band called 'Bleach Brain'. Currently I am playing in a Jazz trio 'Eclosion' and a Kraut Rock band called 'European Taxis'. I have experience teaching group sessions at the Liverpool Lighthouse in Anfield where I helped primary students begin their musical foundation on the drums. I achieved a Distinction in Grade 8 drums before starting my A Levels and have many years of experience gigging and playing with bands.

About the lesson

I will tailor each lesson to you, depending on what you want to get out of playing the instrument by using my experience in a wide range of genres and drumming styles I am excited to pass on the knowledge I have learnt over nearly 20 years of playing. I love to work with drum students of all ages and abilities, from the complete beginner to those further along their journey looking to refine and develop their skills.

Perfect! Really enjoyed my lesson with Tom can’t wait for the next one , Tom was really patient and considering I’d never been near a drum kit I even managed a few consistent beats !!
