About PRADEEPA DARSHANI
Hi! I’m a passionate and qualified Biology teacher with postgraduate qualifications in both Biology and Teaching, along with experience working in international schools. I am familiar with both the Cambridge and NCEA syllabuses, which allows me to effectively support students from different education systems. I teach because I genuinely enjoy helping students understand science in a simple, meaningful way while building their confidence and achieving their academic goals. My teaching style is friendly, interactive, and student-centered, focusing on breaking down complex concepts into easy-to-understand ideas using real-life examples, diagrams, and discussion. I encourage students to ask questions and think critically rather than just memorizing, and I tailor each lesson to the student’s pace and learning style with regular practice and feedback. I offer lessons typically lasting 60 minutes (with 45-minute options available), and I teach students from primary to secondary levels, including beginners, those needing extra support, and students preparing for exams—especially Cambridge and NCEA. My goal is to make learning stress-free, engaging, and effective while helping students build a strong foundation and confidence in Science and Biology.
