About Grace
As a recent college graduate, my biggest takeaway has been, Thank God I read so much as a kid! Whether you're 6 or 16, it's never too early to take a literacy journey and strengthen your Reading and Comprehension skills. Reading as a kid strengthed my vocabulary, my analytical thinking skills, and made me a faster reader. Now, I hope to share my passions and knowledge of Reading and Writing with others.

Hi! My name is Grace and I am a dedicated recent college grad hoping to share my knowledge and passion for English and Writing with everyone I possibly can!
Reading and Writing is a great way to help boost a kid's self-esteem and confidence in the classroom! I loved reading as a kid, every week my mom would take me to drop off a stack of books as tall as I was at the library and get new ones. This love for reading truly left a positive impact that I felt even years later when I was in college, muddling through long and complicated documents, and even when I took my LSATs! Regardless of anyone's ambitions, Reading and Comprehension skills are integral to success.
But how does one teach Reading and Writing? The answer is complicated and depends on the individual. However, the essential structure is the same. The first step is to generate a diagnostic image of the student's skill level, strengths, and weaknesses; this can be in the form of a writing or reading comprehension question sample. Secondly, a general plan will be formulated based on individual concerns. For some students, they'll need help with a specific assignment, for others the focus will be long-term strengthening of Reading and Writing skills. Regardless, this process will include the implementation of beneficial and versatile habits that the student may carry on with them throughout their education.
