About Rachel
My name is Rachel.
I graduated from NIU in 2019 with a Spanish Major and my Teaching license. I have taught Spanish 1, 2, 3, 4, honors and AP literature. I have worked with students who do not know Spanish at all to students who are native speakers but cannot read or write.
I lived in Ecuador and I learned Spanish through school so I have experienced learning in the classroom as well as full emersion. I am very passionate about the language and the culture that comes with Spanish so I love to see other people learn to love the language as well.

As a high school Spanish teacher I have many Spanish lessons that vary from beginner - to native speaker improvements in reading, writing and grammar. My lessons will improve all three modes of communication in the language; Interpretive (Reading/Listening/Understanding), Interpersonal (conversation), and Presentational (Speaking, writing, expressing).

Perfect! Rachel is an excellent tutor! She tailors her lessons based on what you feel is most important in your learning journey and what skill level you are at. We've been using her for our daughter for about a month now and already seeing progress!! Highly recommend.
