About Hermione
I am a recent graduate from a Grammar school, and during my A-level studies, I took on the role of Senior and English prefect which allowed me to share my experiences with younger students as well as providing tutoring. While I have never provided a paid service for this, I thoroughly enjoyed teaching. My A-level subjects were History, English Literature and Psychology, in which I achieved the grades A*AB. I have continued my humanities-based education in my current Law degree at Exeter University, and I am in my first year.

As a friendly and helpful young person with experience in tutoring fellow students, I can provide an in-depth and personalised service focused on essay-based subjects at GCSE level, developing exam technique as well as a confident and proficient learning style. During my A-level studies, I volunteered as an English Literature tutor, but I also have in-depth knowledge of History and R.E GCSE courses, in which I achieved a grade 9. I am happy to assist GCSE students from year 9 to 11, whether last-minute exam prep is needed or assistance in building confidence in constructing arguments and learning the basis of the GCSE structure. I specialise in developing in-depth and further reasoning and technique to help students push their work to grades 8 and 9. I can offer lessons from 1-2 hours, and I will personally plan and adapt this time to the student's needs. As someone who has recently left school, I am equipped to create a patient, structured environment to boost a student's needs and enhance their natural creativity in essay-based subjects which will undoubtedly help to set these students apart from the norm and achieve their potential.
