About Maya
My name is Maya Nagelberg, and I am a recent graduate from the Residency program at Clemson University. I am originally from New York, but fell in love with the Clemson area. I have a passion for helping students, and for making learning as fun as possible. I believe every student has unique strengths, and learning can be easy when these strengths are highlighted. I want every student to be successful!

Hi! I like to follow a hands on learning technique, where students are able to make sense of their learning through practice and experience. A typical lesson would include an experiment or activity, and then practice. I have been in school for education for 5 years, and hold a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and Biological Sciences. I also have a Master's degree in Teaching. My lessons would benefit someone who is a first level college biology student, or a high school student.
