About Alessandro
Alessandro Cella studied Political Science and Theater at Boston College, where he served as President and Technical Director of the Dramatics Society. An experienced actor, director, and theater educator, Alessandro has worked as both a director and assistant director on theatrical productions at the university and high school levels.
His artistic background encompasses classical and contemporary theater, musical theater, devised performance, and physical storytelling. His training includes the Meisner Technique, vocal studies, Jacques Lecoq’s physical theater, and Commedia dell’Arte, providing a versatile foundation for his approach to acting.
As a performer, playwright, and director, Alessandro brings a collaborative, imaginative perspective to his coaching. He emphasizes emotional authenticity, physical expression, vocal confidence, character development, and the importance of making bold, intentional choices onstage.
Alessandro believes that great acting begins with curiosity, vulnerability, and play. His goal is to create an encouraging environment where actors of all experience levels can take creative risks, discover their individuality, and develop the confidence to tell compelling stories.
