About Kimberly

I have been writing since I could hold a pencil in my hand. The endless possibilities of words, sentences, and stories that can be written down and remembered forever is truly mind-blowing. Words have the power to unite us all with universal experiences and struggles, they have the power to take us on great adventures without ever leaving the couch (or needing a passport!), and more than anything, they remind us we are not alone in this human experience.

I graduated from Bluefield University with a bachelor's degree in English Literature and have been published in several newspapers and local journals. While in school, I tutored other students in writing everything from essays, research papers, to creative stories. Since then, I have enjoyed a career as a librarian and, now, a college scheduler.

About the lesson

I want to help you blossom into the best writer and communicator possible.

My lessons are based on what YOU want to learn. Enthusiasm for writing is important! We will explore creative writing and argumentative writing, fusing great imagination with organization and logic so that your talents as a writer can shine through.

Good writing skills translate into good communication skills, and that is invaluable for any job you could ever dream of having.

These lessons are geared for high school and college-level students.
