About Helen
Throughout my educational career, I've experienced first-hand the difficulties that come with being a student who juggles a lot of responsibilities, often which can cause us to feel like we may be falling behind. But by building confidence in my skills and dedicating small amounts of time each day, my strengths have only developed. I believe that, with a little bit of guidance in the right direction, anyone can acquire the skills necessary for long-term academic success!

My approach is to understand where the student struggles and what anxieties they may have about a particular skill. Then, using a surplus of examples and exercises to develop their vocabulary and become accustomed to a specific style of writing, I work with them to create a system of writing, reading, and comprehension that will maximize their abilities in English courses. My lessons can cater to students from K-12, as well as teens and young adults who may need help building/proof-reading their resumes, cover letters, or other such documents that require writing.
