About Ayesha
I’ve always had a passion for understanding complex scientific concepts and enjoy helping others grasp them. I find it incredibly rewarding to see that “light bulb” moment when a concept finally clicks. I studied Biology, Psychology, and Sociology at A-Level and went on to graduate in Biomedical Science at university. Since then, I have nearly two years’ experience as a medical writer, working in science communications. This experience has helped me develop a variety of techniques to explain complex concepts clearly, skills which I now bring into my tutoring. I want to teach because I love helping students build confidence, deepen understanding, and achieve their academic goals. My approach is tailored to each student, combining visual demonstrations, step-by-step explanations, and practical application through exam-style questions and interactive exercises.

I use a personal, visual approach in my lessons, drawing on my experience in medical and science communications. Complex science concepts are easier to understand when they’re seen as well as explained, so I often use diagrams, flow charts, and real-world examples to demonstrate how ideas connect. This method is especially helpful for visual learners and anyone who struggles with complex concepts. To reinforce learning, I use the ‘teach back’ method, where you explain concepts in your own words to ensure understanding. We will also work through exam-style questions and practice tests, so you can apply what you’ve learnt and build confidence for exams. Lessons are tailored to your learning style, so whether you learn best by seeing, doing, or discussing, we’ll find a method that works for you.
