About Rachael
I am a Biochemist and a Google certified instructor. I have 5 years of 21-century teaching skills and experience in Biology and Chemistry. I am a responsible and skilled teacher with the experience in providing the vision and leadership required to ensure a high-quality education for the students.
I have Planned lessons, presented information, assessed performance and modified learning techniques in the study of biology (Both offline and Online). I encourage a student-centred learning approach which involves the active participation of student and monitoring their performances to enhance their mastery skills.
I have produced students with high success rates in Cambridge Checkpoint examinations, WASSCE, IGCSE and UTME.

My teaching method is 90% student-centred. I engage my learners using;
1. Hands-on activities where Students follow an experimental procedure with a clear set of instructions and scaffold for their scientific report. They also explore the materials themselves to design and test their own fair experiment, keeping variable testing in mind. This is to enable the students to have a clear understanding of the scientific method and are now ready for independent thinking
2. Project-Based topics which raws on the hands-on nature of the activities above and extends this to involve students in a deep dive into a given topic
3. Peer-led team learning, which fosters collaboration among students.
