About Kobi
My name is Kobi I am a trans non-binary musician. PoetPoet dancerPoet dancer multidisciplinary artist. And ambulatory wheelchair user.
I have worked as a creative facilitator and teacher since 2020, and I have led and designed my own poetry courses, multidisciplinary creative workshops. I've taught Poetry, World building and music at the University of Westminster mentoring undergraduate and master students, have walked to organisation such as writers and scribes, the Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC, Criptic Arts.
As a poet and writer, I have been published in five publications with publication houses such as Ink Sweat and Tears, Flipped Eye and Marques Almeida for London Fashion Week.
I have been performing and writing professionally since 2018. I have performed internationally across London, DC and Los Angeles at different festivals venues and institutes, such as the Roundhouse the Southbank Centre the Barbican, sankofa café in DC Mount Saint Mary's University in Los Angeles at Vocalise U Music camp, Wilderness festival, Brainchild festival and Wembley Arena.

My Poetry lessons are usually one hour and a half, looking at different examples of poetry, sources techniques and then completing writing exercises. I'm also an editor and so we can do Line by Line Poetry editing of any Poems you've written that you want to look at
My singing lessons include songwriting sessions: lyric writing with keyboard especially when you are not classically trained, making melody lines, editing melody lines.
My singing lessons also include: how to sing with emotion and how to sing safely and warm up your voice.
