About Koljana
Good day! I am Koljana B. Kiswa, a graduate of the University of the Philippines - Baguio, with a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Major in General Biology, Magna Cum Laude. I am a DOST Scholar under the Merit Program during my undergraduate years. With this, It has been instilled in my heart to serve the people with honor and excellence. Moreover, I was also awarded a scholarship grant from the University of the Philippines Alumni Association Alberta Canada.
After graduating college, I worked as an Administrative Assistant I at the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center under the Department of Pathology, Molecular Biology Laboratory for Five months. Working under the BGHMC - Molecular Biology Laboratory department has jumpstarted my career as a scientist eager to learn and discover more from the world. My goal is to be able to use my skills and knowledge, as well my abilities for the good of all. I value the integrity of my service and would always be grateful for every experience that I get in this lifetime adventure.
I am a very enthusiastic person, especially when it comes to my course, which is BS Biology. I learned a lot of theories and lessons in the life sciences and I would want this job to be an opportunity for me to share my knowledge and skills. Moreover, my main goal is for my students to appreciate the subject and be able to apply their learnings in the real world set-up.
