About Zekun
I have been tutoring my peers for years and I have helped and understood plenty of people with their own ways of thinking, and they are amazed by how well I could understand and break down their confusions. So, I am confident to say that you will not be disappointed to provide me with your questions and needs in mathematics!
Furthermore, I am a certified (CSIA 2) ski instructor and can transfer my skill in effective teaching to mathematics, to provide a helpful and encouraging learning process.

I am a grade twelve high school student, having expertise in precalculus mathematics.
I firmly believe that for subjects like mathematics, success is best achieved from rigorous understanding and sufficient practice. An initial good understanding of the material reduces confusion later on in the practice phase; a reasonable amount practice saves time on test situations, prevents rushing through problems and reduces "silly mistakes". For this reason, my lessons are usually comprised of two phases: the concept phase, and the practice phase. During the concept phase, the student's understanding of given mathematical concepts is assessed, and is given feedback and suggestions if needed. In the practice phase, the student does practice problems relating these concepts (with assistance if needed) - this does not need to take place during class time, and questions regarding these problems will be answered while and after the student goes through them.
My lessons are flexible in that I will have a structured plan for the session, but the student is always more than welcome to seek aid in areas of mathematics of their interest!
