I am a third-year Special Education teacher that focuses on teaching my students where they are at to build confidence and then challenging them to rise above and beyond. I have a strong passion for teaching and helping students reach their full potential.

My lessons are geared towards teaching the fundamentals of reading and writing. I focus on phonemic awareness, letter and sound recognition, and how to read and remember words through basic syllabication and word morphology. I also focus on basic sentence and paragraph structure for writing so that students will have a solid idea of what goes into making the perfect sentence and paragraph.
