About Advaith
Hi! I am a Grade 11 student in Ontario with a strong passion for science, especially Biology. I have always been fascinated by how the systems of life work, from the molecular level all the way to complex biological processes in living organisms.
I have achieved a 97% average in Ontario Grade 10 Math and Science, and I am continuing to challenge myself through advanced science courses, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
Outside of academics, I enjoy exploring science, leadership, and entrepreneurship. I participate in activities such as student leadership and Model United Nations, which have helped me develop strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. I am also currently developing a business, where I continue to build my creativity, leadership, and ability to turn ideas into meaningful projects.
As a tutor, my goal is to make learning feel less intimidating and more exciting. I believe every student can understand difficult concepts when they are explained in a way that matches how they learn. I enjoy helping students build confidence, ask questions, and develop a genuine curiosity for science.

My lessons focus on understanding concepts rather than memorizing information. I believe the best way to learn science is by understanding how and why things work, allowing students to build knowledge that lasts beyond a single test.
Each lesson is structured around three main steps:
1. Concept Explanation
I begin by breaking down difficult topics into clear, understandable ideas using diagrams, visual examples, and real-world connections. My goal is to help students see the bigger picture and understand how different concepts connect.
2. Guided Practice
After introducing a concept, we work through examples together. I encourage students to explain their reasoning, ask questions, and develop problem-solving skills rather than simply memorize procedures.
3. Review & Confidence Building
At the end of each lesson, we review key ideas, identify areas that need additional practice, and develop strategies to help students become more independent learners.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and focused on building confidence. I want students to leave each lesson not only knowing the answer, but understanding the reasoning behind it.
I have achieved a 97% average in Ontario Grade 10 Math and Science, with strong foundations in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. My strongest area is Biology, where I especially enjoy helping students understand complex systems and processes. I also have a strong interest and understanding of Chemistry, including areas such as Organic Chemistry, and enjoy explaining how molecular structures and reactions work.
