About Emma
Hi! I’m a Grade 10 IGCSE student passionate about helping younger students learn with confidence and understanding. Having recently completed both the Cambridge Primary and Secondary Checkpoints myself, I understand the challenges students face and the techniques that truly help in exams and academics.
I achieved strong Secondary Checkpoint results, including Math 50/50, Science 50/50, and English 42/50, and I’ve already helped students prepare for their Primary Checkpoints, with each student achieving at least one Outstanding result.
I want to share my knowledge because I know how much the right guidance and support can improve both confidence and performance. My goal is to make learning less stressful, more interactive, and easier to understand by explaining concepts in a simple and relatable way.
I am patient, organized, and committed to creating a supportive online learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving at their own pace.

My teaching approach is focused on making concepts simple, interactive, and easy to remember rather than relying only on memorization. Since I recently completed the Cambridge Primary and Secondary Checkpoints myself, I understand the curriculum, exam patterns, and common difficulties students face.
A typical class begins with a quick review of previous concepts, followed by teaching new topics through step-by-step explanations, examples, and practice questions. I also include checkpoint-style questions, problem-solving techniques, and exam strategies to help students build confidence and improve accuracy.
One of my strengths as a student willing to teach is that I can explain concepts in a relatable and patient way for younger students. I focus on creating a comfortable environment where students feel free to ask questions and learn at their own pace.
My classes are intended for primary and lower secondary school students, especially those following the Cambridge curriculum or preparing for Primary and Secondary Checkpoints.
