About Elliot
I am a grade 11 high-school student looking to teach Elementary English. I have skills in reading comprehension, creative writing, essay writing, and vocabulary. I have an 80% average in my studies and am well versed in study skills. I have the patience to deal with a variety of academic struggles. Such as inattention and boredom.

I teach with a flexible schedule, taking the student's lead on what they would like to learn. I also include the parent's input in my plans where needed, making sure the student is best set up for full success. I use a variety of resources such as textbooks, videos, and games to help teach the topics and am a quick learner in the event that I am not well versed in the section of the subject.

Details
Travel charges will depend on the distance from tutor to student. The average cost being 10$ (enough to cover a day pass by transit.) Cancellation policy requires 24 hr notice and payment of half the cost if notice is not given beforehand. Price increases by grade level with $20/hr being the minimum, price for teaching elementary students. Price increases to $25/hr for junior high students and $30/hr for high-school students.
