About Chloe

Hi! My name is Chloe, and I am a first-year Undergraduate English Language and Literature Student at the prestigious Russell Group University Of Leeds.

Having achieved full marks in my GCSE English Literature with a 9 in English Language and an A* at A-level, I know how to smash the most recent mark schemes!

English is fun; it’s about understanding how to structure arguments and analyse texts deeply, not just endlessly memorising quotes.

This is what I want to prove to my students - as someone with ADHD, I know how difficult academic environments can be to navigate as a struggling teenager. However, I am determined to prove everyone can adapt, no matter the challenge. With my proven track record, subject specialism, and relatability, I’ll help you get your best results in the best way for YOU.

About the lesson

My lessons are relaxed, structured, and focused on building true confidence so students feel fully prepared for exams.

Lessons are tailored to the student’s specific exam board (e.g., AQA, Edexcel, OCR, Eduqas) and current target grade. A typical session looks like:

1. Targeted Skill Building (15 mins): We break down key essay structures, high-scoring vocabulary, or core literary techniques.

2. Interactive Analysis & Practice (25 mins): We unpack exam questions or extract texts together. I share my exact Grade 9 / A* frameworks for planning top-band paragraphs under time pressure.

3. Live Feedback & Application (15 mins): The student practises writing responses or breaking down unseen extracts, followed by instant, constructive feedback focused on boosting their marks.

4. Summary & Action Points (5 mins): Clear takeaways and optional lightweight task practice for next time to keep momentum going.

Chloe is my daughter, so I’m obviously a bit biased, but she’s patient, approachable and really loves English. She puts a lot of care into what she does, and I think she’d be great at helping students feel more confident with the subject.

I was in Chloe’s English class at both GCSE and A-level, and she was undoubtedly the fire lighting every lesson. She was always the one raising her hand, helping everyone else structure a paragraph, and even marking our work! I can confidently say you won’t get just a regular tutor experience with Chloe - she’s proven herself through flawless grades and a stellar work ethic. It would be a mistake not to choose her.
