About Zora
I’m a Gonzaga University graduate with over three years of experience as a Lead Writing Tutor, where I’ve helped more than 150 students strengthen their writing across a wide range of subjects and skill levels. I believe in meeting students where they are and focusing on growth, not perfection. Whether you’re working on an academic essay, resume, science report, graduate thesis, or anything in between, I’ll create a supportive, judgment-free space where you can build skills and confidence. I’m professional, reliable, and genuinely invested in helping each student become a stronger, more independent writer.

My tutoring style is all about meeting students where they’re at and focusing on growth over perfection. I aim to create a space where writers of any level can feel heard and empowered.
At the start of each session, I take time to build rapport, get to know the student, and understand what they hope to get out of our time together. From there, we focus on big-picture elements like content, organization, thesis clarity, and flow. Grammar and small fixes matter, but I believe the most meaningful progress comes from strengthening a writer’s voice and structure.
I enjoy working with anyone who’s motivated to improve, no matter their background, confidence, or academic level. Students often tell me they appreciate my energy, care, and ability to meet them where they are. Whether it’s an essay, personal statement, or any other kind of writing, I’m here to help them grow.
