About Sandra
I am a professional in language teaching. BA in Modern Language Teaching, and MA in Applied Linguistics. I am also a Ph.D. in Cultural Studies from the University of London, UK. Spanish is my native language. I live in Montréal, Quebec, Canada, and have a high proficiency in both English (C1 - IELTS 8), and French (DALF C1).

My teaching methods are interactive, focused on the communicative method, with an integrative development of Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing Skills, as well as vocabulary and grammar.
My classes are personalized according to the specific student needs and interests. I prepare my classes and design my own materials, and I also implement valuable and up-to-date online materials.
I aim to create learning opportunities that help my students use the language in context while developing intercultural and sociocultural knowledge. Additionally, I create a friendly learning environment that makes students feel at ease, with the lowest-anxiety levels possible, and motivated as they see their progress and enjoy their learning experience.
