About Matthew
Hello! My name is Matthew LeBaron. I have been passionate about Spanish since 9th grade, which led to me being a foreign exchange student in Santiago, Chile for my senior year of high school. There I lived with two different Chilean families and attended a local high school.
Aside from my foreign exchange, I have been enrolled in four years of high school Spanish and six semesters of college Spanish. I also pursued a three month volunteer experience in Costa Rica, where I lived with a local family.
I believe my experience learning Spanish as a second language gives me a unique perspective that is valuable when teaching the language, as I understand and can empathize with the learning process.
I look forward to helping you reach your Spanish goals!
