I love teaching and sharing our craft and training! It's important and YOU are important! The first thing I show a writing student is how to copyright your material. PROTECTING YOUR intellectual property is priority one. Any one of you that is having an interest in pursuing these disciplines is doing the right thing by exploring. The next thing is to NOT give up. Honor it!

About the lesson

My techniques vary depending on the discipline you are interested in. For writing, I go right to the heart of each individual's personality. I encourage the writer to not try to edit themselves on their first draft but to just "get it out and onto paper" once all the raw material is there we pull it into place. Acting - pull tools from various schools of thought. I've studied various teachers from Stanislavski to Uta Hagen, and was an actress at the most competitive summer theater Williamstown Theatre Festival. Directing - I show you how to break down a script and prep for stage, prep for filming and even prep for directing a reading. I've won several awards as a director and was the director of new scripts by members of the Emmys which were produced and performed at HBO's executive screening room. NOT LISTED (for space) Indie filmmaking. Ask me!! I have a BA in Dramatic Studies, am a member of various professional unions.

My online rates are the same as my in person rates - at this point in time. I am prepping to direct 2 feature films back to back this year so most sessio0ns will be virtual. This app is still very limited in what I am able to share in the dd so I will just say my specialties are teaching screenwriting, playwriting, acting, scene study, audition prep and monologue coaching.

I like to have w 30 minute chats to talk to the student/client to get a better idea of what they need and how I can best help.
