About Georgia
Hi! I’m Georgia, a certified Ontario teacher (OCT) with Primary/Junior qualifications and experience working with students in Grades 1–6. I’m passionate about helping students feel confident in their learning and reach their full potential.
I create a friendly, supportive, and personalized learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. My goal is to make learning engaging while building strong academic skills and confidence.
Whether your child needs extra support with reading, writing, math, or homework, I tailor each session to their individual needs and learning goals. I look forward to helping your child succeed!

As a certified Ontario teacher, I use a student-centred and individualized approach. I adapt each lesson to the student’s needs, learning style, and current level while making learning engaging and encouraging. I use a combination of modelling, guided practice, hands-on activities, questioning, and positive reinforcement to help students build both skills and confidence.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review or warm-up, followed by an introduction to the skill we are working on. We then work through examples together before the student completes activities independently with support as needed. I finish with a short review to reinforce what was learned and identify what we should focus on next.
What sets me apart is my classroom teaching experience and ability to personalize instruction. I understand that every student learns differently, and I aim to make tutoring a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes.
My lessons are designed primarily for elementary students in Grades 1–6, with support available in reading, writing, math, homework, and study skills. I can also provide individualized support for students with different learning needs.
