About Charlotte
I am a dedicated Geography tutor who aims to inspire confidence and help students achieve their full potential. I provide structured, well-prepared lessons tailored to each student’s individual needs, helping build study plans and targeting areas to be focused on.
I am currently studying Geography at university, giving me a strong and up-to-date understanding of the Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate curricula. After I graduate I aim to go into teaching. My lessons place a strong emphasis on exam technique, key terminology, and case-study preparation, helping students feel confident and well-prepared for assessments.
I offer tuition for Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate students, both online and in person, with a focus on building confidence, improving results, and developing effective study skills.

Approach to Tutoring
I take a student-centred approach to tutoring, focusing on building confidence, understanding, and exam skills. Lessons are structured around personalised lesson plans that reflect each student’s level, strengths, and areas for improvement. Concepts are explained clearly and broken down into manageable sections, with a strong emphasis on exam technique, key terminology, and active recall. Sample essays and Marking schemes will be went through and learned.
Teaching methods include guided explanations, exam-focused questions, map and case-study work, and regular revision through tests to reinforce learning.
Lesson Structure
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, though longer and shorter sessions can be arranged when needed, particularly closer to exams. Lessons can be delivered online or in person, or hybrid depending on how the week goes
