About Abigail
I’m really passionate about travel and exploring new places, which naturally links into my love for Geography. I enjoy bringing real-world examples into my teaching to make topics more interesting and easier to understand. Alongside Geography, I also teach TEFL English, and I really enjoy helping students build confidence in a relaxed, supportive way. Whether it’s exam prep or improving everyday communication skills, I like keeping lessons engaging and practical.

Teaching techniques and methodology:
I like to keep my lessons interactive and student-focused. For TEFL English, I focus on building confidence in speaking and listening through conversation, practical activities, and useful everyday vocabulary. For GCSE Geography, I break topics down clearly, use diagrams and real-life examples, and work through exam-style questions to help students feel more prepared and confident.
Typical lesson length:
Most of my lessons are 60 minutes, but I can also do 45 or 90 minutes depending on what works best for the student.
Qualifications/experience as a tutor:
I’ve got several years of tutoring experience, along with experience teaching English abroad through TEFL. I’ve also supported GCSE Geography students with both content and exam preparation, helping them build confidence and improve their results.
Who the lessons are for:
My English lessons are for beginners to intermediate learners of all ages—kids, teens, or adults who want to improve their general or conversational English. My Geography tutoring is mainly for GCSE students (around 14–16 years old) who need support with the course or exam preparation.
