About Gemma
Hello, my name is Gemma.
I am a happy-go-lucky tutor who has your best interests at heart. When I was a student myself, I was independent and driven, always chasing the best grades possible. However, achieving these grades was never easy, and was it not for the hard work I put in and the support from my tutors at the time, I would not be where I am today.
I would like to think I am a very understanding individual who recognises that everyone is different. Therefore, the pace we learn at and the methods which we use will be different too!
As a tutor myself, I now hope to have the same effect on my students as my tutors did for me, having fuelled my confidence and opened my eyes to understand what hard work can achieve!

GCSEs - Triple science, english literature and language, maths, geography, religious studies, home economics and french
A Level- Geography, Psychology and English Lit/Lang.
Undergraduate - Criminology with Law at The University of Sussex
Masters - Starting in London in September 2023

I am very happy to help support any student in need of some extra help, up to GCSE level.
I use a range of resources to best fit the student and enable them to achieve the best of their ability.
For those wishing to improve their grades for upcoming exams, as a tutor, I heavily rely on past-paper questions, familiarise students with similar questions to those that will be presented to in their exams, whilst breaking down each of the questions to understand where the points can be earned and what the markers are looking for.
My lessons are typically 50 minutes long, however, longer sessions are possible on request.
