About Alisha
Hi, my name is Alisha. I recently achieved an A in A-Level Biology and will be starting a Pharmacy degree this September. I also earned an A* in GCSE Biology two years ago. Having completed these exams recently, I have a strong grasp of the subject and well-developed revision techniques that helped me succeed. I'm passionate about Biology and enjoy helping others understand it. During sixth form, I volunteered during lunchtimes to tutor younger students at my grammar school who were struggling with the subject. I found it incredibly rewarding to see their confidence and understanding grow through tailored support. Because I’ve been through the exam process myself not long ago, I can easily relate to students and understand the pressure they’re under. I adapt my teaching style to suit individual needs and use a range of revision methods to help students discover what works best for them. Tutoring is a great way to make a difference, and I'm excited to support students who just need that extra bit of help to succeed.

In my lessons, I use a variety of revision techniques tailored to each student’s learning style. During sixth form, I applied these methods while tutoring GCSE students at my school, helping them strengthen their understanding and boost their confidence in Biology. Having recently completed my A-Level Biology with an A grade—and achieving an A* in GCSE Biology—I bring both up-to-date knowledge and firsthand exam experience. I’ll be starting a Pharmacy degree this September, and my strong foundation in Biology allows me to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively. I focus on building a strong rapport with students, which helps me understand their individual needs and identify the areas they find most challenging. From there, I adapt my teaching approach to suit them, making lessons engaging, supportive, and results-driven.
