GCSE AQA English Literature and Language Help from a Recent Student for Years 9-11

I have known Hajrah for around 5 years, we became friends through school - throughout which she was an amazing help for me and many other students in our year. For example, you could approach and ask her any question (whether it was easy or difficult) and she could carefully explain how to approach your issue, instead of immediately giving you the answer. This way, she helped you gain confidence and help knowledge stick, meaning you could develop your understanding in a way which suited you.
Another aspect of her approach to questions was her caring nature. She would never respond in a demeaning manner towards anyone who needed support; this meant that nobody was afraid to approach and ask questions because she didn’t make anyone feel ashamed or invalid for simply not understanding.
Working with Hajrah would be an asset to anyone as she will boost confidence along with grades.

Hajrah is a great friend who is dedicated to help those who come to her for help. She is very good at formulating her teaching to help you understand aswell as enjoy the subject. Would 100% recommend taking her lessons as it is guaranteed she will help you succeed.

Hajrah is an amazing and inspiring tutor, since as I’ve known her she’s tutored me in many fields (such as English, history, mathematics, sciences) despite her being only a year older than me. Because of her, my target grades have gone from below 6s (also known as a B) to 7s, 8s, and 9s. Her teaching methods are really substantial as she doesn’t just tell you the contents of subjects, but she designs and changes it into a way you can understand. For example, she switched my revision method (flashcards) to mind maps, as she realised I am a more visual learner and it made revising a lot more easier for me. Together, we both worked hard to secure me a passing grade on an English test on a topic I was failing, however due to her creating specialised character sheets with many different English techniques alongside it, I achieved above the passing grade! I would really recommend Hajrah as she is an entertaining, engaging and hardworking tutor that genuinely can flip any bad grade into a good one.

Hajrah is one of my closest friends and I can say with confidence that she is an outstanding English tutor. She explains difficult concepts in a way that makes them easy to understand and her notes are always very detailed. She has helped a lot of my friends feel inspired and prepared for their GCSEs.

With Hajrah's help, I went from a Grade 3 student to a Grade 6 within less than 10 sessions. She explained things in a very clear, simple way, yet in a way that helped me retain details. She broke down complex ideas in a way that I could easily understand and remember them and taught me how to write a model answer.
