About Megan
I am currently studying A-Level Chemistry at A* standard and achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Chemistry, dropping just 24 marks across the exam papers. I have a strong understanding of the AQA specification and am particularly confident when it comes to exam technique and understanding what examiners are looking for in mark schemes. I want to tutor because I enjoy Chemistry and know how valuable it can be to have someone explain difficult topics in a clear and straightforward way. As I am currently studying the subject myself, I understand the challenges students can face and want to create supportive lessons where students feel comfortable asking questions, working through difficult areas and building their confidence.

Whether you are looking to strengthen your understanding of the core topics, improve your confidence, develop your exam technique or work towards the highest grades, I adapt each lesson to suit you. I place a strong focus on understanding the AQA specification, mark schemes and the specific wording required to gain marks in different question types. I can help students break down challenging concepts, identify exactly where they are losing marks and develop effective techniques for approaching calculations, practical questions and longer written answers. My aim is to make Chemistry easier to understand and help students feel more confident and prepared for their exams.
