About Rosie
I have been teaching English and Humanities since 2018 across prestigious international schools in France and Romania, supporting students from Year 7 all the way through to Year 13. Additionally, I have extensive experience lecturing at prestigious engineering and business universities in France, teaching students from undergraduate through to Master's level.
Because of this background, I am highly adaptable and deeply accustomed to working within a multilingual environment where English is often not the primary language spoken at home.
My extensive experience spans multiple curricula, including Cambridge Lower Secondary, IGCSE, US Common Core, and Advanced Placement (AP) Literature & Composition. As a qualified educator with specialised training as a SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), I bring a wealth of expertise in supporting pupils with diverse learning needs, ensuring that my online classroom is fully inclusive, structured, and accessible to every student.
Beyond exam preparation I bring a genuine interest and love for the subject to my lessons. I have a love for language, a keen interest in sociolinguistics and a deep admiration for the works of Shakespeare. My genuine enthusiasm for the subject allows me to make literary analysis engaging and meaningful, helping students build critical thinking skills that serve them well across adjacent humanities subjects.

I am an English teacher and university lecturer specialising in secondary and advanced English Language and Literature. I bring a dedicated, dynamic, and global perspective to online tutoring, combining classroom rigour with creative digital tools to help students build confidence, sharpen their analytical precision, and hit top marks on high-stakes examinations. My teaching method focuses heavily on tailored exam strategy, ensuring students thoroughly understand the specific marking criteria and essay structures that examiners look for.
My extensive academic background includes an iPGCE from the University of Derby, a CELTA from Cambridge, a BA (Hons) in Music Management as well as a specialised SENCO qualification (Special Educational Needs Coordinator). Furthermore, my experience lecturing in English and professional communication at elite institutions in France including Grenoble Ecole de Management and Institut Polytechnique de Grenoble gives me a unique insight into the advanced skills students need to succeed at the highest levels.
