About Ina
I have recently finished 6th form and have a background of mentoring year 8 to 10 students in Maths, French and Spanish. I'm providing Biology, Chemistry and Maths lessons for students in years 10-12.
I'm predicted 3 A*s at A level (Biology, Chemistry and Maths).

Hi, I'm Ina! I give one-to-one virtual tutoring on the three subjects I'm most passionate about: biology, chemistry and maths.
I firmly believe that the more engaged a student can be in their lessons, the more they'll take away. I've seen this at work from my time mentoring maths and language students during my GCSE's and A levels.
My lessons are flexible around the needs and abilities of the student. Once a student has informed me of the topic they'd like to cover, I can create a lesson plan consisting of three main stages.
1. Prerequisite knowledge - Here we will go through any required knowledge for a said topic using slides and discussion-based learning. We'll also address any queries or questions you might have to ensure your understanding is as solid as possible. This way you'll best understand the main portion of the content.
2. Main content - Using your requested exam board, we will go through all the specification points in detail using diagrams, notes and discussions as well and talking about any links to previous topics and outside context.
3. Exam questions and reflection - This will allow for identifying any specific concerns you might have on the topic as well as your strengths. We'll talk through a selection of exam questions of varying difficulty. Not only will we focus on the content of your answer but your exam technique and strategies that could be applied. At the end of the session rate how confident you are on the topic as well as answer any final questions you might have.
I'll keep a record of your confidence on the topic (which specific parts would you like to follow up on and which you are more secure on) as well as your score on questions should you ever want to revisit them. Slides and notes from the lesson will also be made available to you by request but I strongly suggest you also take your own notes alongside.
