About Eloise
I am a musician, composer and scientist planning to study natural sciences (a combination of sciences) at university. I am particularly interested in biochemistry, biotechnology, bioengineering and microbiology. I achieved an A* in the Extended Project Qualification, where I completed a research project assessing the efficacy of OCD treatment in the UK. I also completed a Gold CREST award, involving an investigation into air quality and safety in my local area.
I also code in my free time, and am currently developing an app which aims to improve efficacy of practice for musicians by analysing practice audio and giving time coded feedback.
When not working on all things scientific, I compose, produce and perform music. My most recent works were premiered and the London Contemporary Music for All festival 2022, and I have also been shortlisted for the BDRS composition prize. I write in both classical and contemporary styles, while I enjoy playing folk and funk music (respectively!) in bands.
