About Asmi

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share my knowledge and passion for computer science with you guys. As someone who has been coding since the 9th grade, I have seen firsthand the incredible paths that programming can lead to. Unfortunately, many people are discouraged from pursuing computer science because of the way it is often taught in universities - in a dry, uninspiring way.

However, I believe that computer science is much more than just a means to an end or a lucrative career choice. It is an exciting field that offers limitless possibilities for innovation and creativity. From AI to game design to software development, the potential applications of computer science are endless.

My goal as a teacher is to help you discover the fun and excitement of coding and to show you how it can be used to create amazing things. I want to inspire you to explore the endless possibilities of computer science and not just view it as a means to a financial end.

I am passionate about teaching and have extensive experience in making computer science accessible and engaging for students of all levels. With my guidance, I am confident that you will develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed in this exciting field.

About the lesson

As a teacher, I believe in making the learning process fun, engaging, and accessible to everyone. My teaching techniques involve gamifying the programming concepts to make it more interactive and relatable. I follow a hands-on, projects-first approach to help students understand the practical application of the programming concepts. My classes are structured to encourage imagination, creativity and abstract thinking, making programming accessible even to those with no prior experience. I cater to students of all levels, from school children to adults, and I strive to create a learning environment that is inclusive and collaborative. In each class, I not only focus on teaching the computer science concept but also on its practical applications. I believe that it is essential for students to understand how programming concepts are used in real-world scenarios. By demonstrating practical applications of the concepts taught in class, students can better appreciate the value of the knowledge they are gaining. It also helps them develop a deeper understanding of the concept and improves their problem-solving skills.
