About Nadia

I am an Argentine living in Buenos Aires who has traveled all over Latin America and has lived in Medellín for a while. I am a certified teacher to teach Spanish as a foreign language by ELE Internacional. I also have a degree in administration.
I have more than four giving classes both online and in person. I have also been part of a French platform for a year giving classes 1 to 1.

Perfect! When I started the lessons with Nadia I already had some level of Spanish so the grammar was my primary concern. We were studing 3 times a week, during 5 weeks in Medellín and it was an incredible experience, very helpful to organise my speaking knoledge and to convert it into some actual structurised form. And trust me, it have never been boring at any point, we discussed multiple social issues in Colombia and Argentina (Nadia's homeland) compairing them to the other countries we visited. For example, one of my homework assignments was to explore the conflict between Colombian government and guerrilla comunists and than to make a presentaron during the class. We also used newspapers and TV shows as a way of studing and she significantly increased my vocabulary of colombian slang as well which was very useful. I highly recommend you to take the lessons with Nadia, I would have taken them longer if i had more time in Medellín and the price is very good compairing to all the language schools in the city!

Nadia es una profesora muy recomendable súper atenta en la necesidad de cada uno(por mi caso es para rendir examen Dele) . Puntual en horario, divertida pero seria en lo que hace yo hago clase en online con ella y Ma gusta forma de enseñanza que tiene aprendí un montón con ella.

Nadia is great teacher that I can recommend to anybody from beginner to advanced student. She creates classes for each student ,very fun to study with but serious about what she does. Nadia is the KINDEST person you will ever meet. She makes you feel incredibly comfortable and confident. You do not feel stupid or like you can't ask any questions! This is so vitally important as adult learners and will help you to progress much more quickly. Not only is she very patient and kind but she's bright and always holds interesting conversations so you stay engaged in things you want to talk about. I recommend her without reservation. She's helped my Spanish improve exponentially. Two minutes with her and you'll understand exactly what I'm talking about!

¿Hablas este idioma gracias a tu lugar de origen o porque alguna situación o profe te dio ganas de aprender?
Soy Nativa, soy argentina por ende hablo español desde que nací, también he recorrido todo Sudamérica por lo que conozco el Slang y la diferencia de culturas de cada uno de los países de la región.
Cuéntanos de algún personaje inspirador/a que sea un emblema o muy representativo de la lengua que enseñas.
Personajes inspiradores, muchos como mujer latina que soy diría Juana Azurduy (gran libertadora) o el Che Guevara o más representativo actual Rigoberta Menchú.
¿Hay alguna expresión o tradición que te llame mucho la atención del idioma que enseñas?
Completamente, mientras doy clase generalmente tomo Mate, que es la bebida típica Argentina (aunque también se toma en Uruguay, Paraguay y Brasil)
¿Por qué sería importante hablar esta lengua? Ya sea en un plano escolar, profesional o personal.
Porque el español es la 2da lengua más hablada del mundo, después del chino. Hay millones de personas que se comunican en español. Es un idioma rico lleno de expresiones.
¿Qué es lo más difícil de aprender esta lengua?
Mis alumnos dicen que los pasados y entender los diferentes acentos. Pero con práctica dedicación y ejercicios apuntados a ver estos temas de una manera más dinámica todo es posible :).
¿Alguna anécdota que nos quieras contar sobre tu aprendizaje de la misma?
Como he dicho soy nativa así que he aprendido español de pequeña y no lo recuerdo.
Pero puedo contarles que al aprender otras lenguas suelo tener papeles pegados por toda la casa con vocabulario... jajá
