About Kiki

Qualification & Experience

Master's in Music from Birmingham Conservatoire
Music teacher at Loretto International Boarding School
City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra
Current leader of Birmingham String Quartet

I am from Taiwan; we are known as a friendly and happy island. I have lived and worked in the UK for almost 20 years now.

While my profile on the US site might seem new, I have nearly 30 reviews on the UK site, all 5-star, and I am at ambassador level on Superprof.

Most of my students say time passes quickly during the lesson. I like that they start sharing their thoughts with me after we get to know each other, and I appreciate the lifelong relationships with all the families.

About the lesson

Materials will be advised in advance. I use the UK's official music learning system, the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.

The advertised fee is for 2 pupils (60 minutes) or 1 pupil (40 minutes).
For children under 5, we will start with an easy, fun activity book; for children over 6, we will start with ABRSM Grade 1.

ABRSM is recognised as a UK credit-based school system; Grade 5 is equivalent to a high school music exam, and Grade 8 is equivalent to a before university music exam. I'd love to know your child's level throughout the learning process.
