About Jade

I’m a language graduate who recently moved to Sydney. While I have a deep love for Chinese literature and classic poetry, I'm also very practical.

My three years of corporate experience managing international clients taught me how to explain complex things in simple, structured ways. I’m starting this tutoring side hustle to help you move past raw memorization. I want to share the beauty of the language with you, while making sure you learn the useful, everyday Mandarin you can actually use to connect with people.

About the lesson

I graduated with a language degree and spent nearly three years managing international clients for a major automotive and electronics manufacturer. Now living in Sydney and sharing life with friends from Italy, France, and the UK, I see firsthand where cultural misunderstandings and language barriers happen every day.

Because of this background, my lessons focus on what is actually useful. I don't just follow textbooks. If you are a beginner, I will teach you the practical phrases you need to survive daily life. If you need it for work, I can help you understand business communication and how to avoid sounding awkward. Everything is based on real-world logic and clear, step-by-step learning.
