About Nathaniel
I am a fourth year Spanish BA student at Arizona State University. I have been learning Spanish and various languages for the last 9 years. Initially, I struggled to learn Spanish, but with the help of amazing teachers that pushed me with amazing methods, I was able to thrive ultimately until I reached fluency. I have truly come to realize that learning is a lifelong process as I learn new things about Spanish almost every day. I hope to inspire the same curiosity in others about Spanish and ultimately help others achieve fluency! I have been able to make connections to different music, culture, and people that I would not have been able to make without that first step into language learning and I love to guide others in the same journey.

Throughout my years of learning languages, I have discovered that heavy grammar-based language is typically not very effective. However, I have discovered that learning key vocabulary and gradually implementing said vocabulary into grammar concepts through time can result in incredible progress. To begin, we will simply talk about our day-to-day lives in our target language and introduce one to two grammar rules that we can practice throughout the lesson. We will implement audio, visual, and speaking with a heavy emphasis on speaking! This comes from actual proven teaching methods that I have studied at university level! All lesson plans are flexible to different learning methods as well!
