About Khadijah
I am a highly motivated and enthusiastic teacher and strive to bring lessons alive for children, to make learning both enjoyable and memorable. I have been teaching at a diverse Surrey school in England since 2011 and am passionate about working with learners who have English as an additional language.
Being multilingual myself, I really appreciate and understand the diverse range of needs, abilities and cultural factors that can affect learners and am able to tailor my teaching to reflect pupils’ needs.
I am committed to ensuring that all pupils achieve their maximum potential and believe children learn well when they are inspired, engaged and challenged. I pride myself on creating a positive learning environment where there are high quality experiences, coupled with a culture of mutual respect, hard work and commitment that will encourage children to achieve highly.
I strive to adapt my teaching style to the individual learner; some learners need more direction, whereas others need questioning and prompting. Everyone learns in a unique way, so my aim is to find out where the student needs help and provide personalised support to enable the student to maximise their potential in a way that is best suited to them.

I am a fully qualified teacher with 8 years of school teaching experience working both in the UK and in the United Arab Emirates. I have also offered private tuition for Maths, English and Arabic. I am currently working in the Supply Teaching sector in the UK.
In my spare time I teach at a faith school teaching children ages 7-17 years old. I am passionate about education and helping to equip children and young people with the tools to become great individuals. My philosophy in life is that you can achieve anything if you put your mind to it - all it takes is drive, commitment, enthusiasm, a dash of optimism and of course a little hard work.
I am a patient individual and have great interpersonal skills. This means that I am able to listen to students and also give clear direction when necessary. This helps my students to feel comfortable, confident and able to learn in a safe, conducive learning environment.
I am a down to earth and enthusiastic individual that loves to help others achieve their educational potential.
