I am a fully qualified maths teacher, currently teaching at a secondary school in West Yorkshire.
I am currently teaching up to GCSE level, and have experience tutoring primary maths, GCSE resit and functional skills maths.

I base my classes on teaching for understanding. I believe you that a solid foundation and understanding is key to learning, rather than learning methods by rote with no understanding.
I tailor my lessons to the individual, and use concrete and pictorial methods as appropriate. I try to use a wide range of resources to appeal to different learning styles.
