About Jake
I've been teaching music full-time for the last few years, and my biggest passion is drumming. I'm lucky enough to play in a few different bands all over Virginia. On top of teaching and gigging, I'm always busy with studio session work. If you want to get serious about drumming, lock in with me for a session. I guarantee you'll leave a better musician.

I currently teach from ages 3 to 45. I'm flexible with beginners, but this package is geared more toward intermediate to advanced players. I go over rudimental flow patterns, dynamic phrasing, and limb independence. If you're a beginner.. I'll help teach you any song you want, as well as give you a steady foundation for improving your craft!
