About Senna
With a Doctor of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance and more than 7 years of experience, I specialize in teaching adults to sing comfortably and confidently. My lessons welcome absolute beginners, hobbyists, and returning singers alike. The focus is on relaxation and awareness. We start with breathwork, posture, and mindfulness to release tension and invite ease. From there, tone, phrasing, and musicality begin to blossom. I believe singing is for everyone, not just performers. My experience spans Jazz, Folk, Blues, and Contemporary Adult styles, allowing flexibility for each student’s taste. Each lesson is a blend of structure and creativity. The process is nurturing and joyful, not stressful. Singing can bring calm, clarity, and confidence. Wherever you are in life, your voice deserves to be heard.

My approach to teaching singing centers on mindful technique and personal growth. We start by exploring your voice’s natural qualities — its color, depth, and resonance. Breath support and posture come first, setting a solid base for tone and projection. From there, we shape sound through awareness of space, energy, and emotion. Lessons include exercises for mastering chest, head, and mixed voice transitions. Belting is introduced gradually to ensure both strength and comfort. I work especially well with adult beginners and soloists developing confidence on stage. Each lesson builds technique while celebrating progress. Students learn to sing with less tension and more freedom. I use a mix of mindfulness and physical awareness to deepen understanding. Together, we explore sound from the inside out. My aim is to help you sing with expression and ease. Your voice becomes not just stronger — but more you.
