About Joshua

Hi, I’m Joshua, a professional actor with over 8 years of experience performing on both stage and screen. Currently starring in London’s West End, I’ve appeared in acclaimed productions like Next to Normal, Fiddler on the Roof, Oklahoma, Wind in the Willows, and A Christmas Carol. My screen credits include a role in the BBC1 crime thriller The Jetty and serving as the lead narrator for an Audible audiobook.

With years of professional training, including two years at the Birmingham Ormiston Academy and three years at the Guildford School of Acting on an Andrew Lloyd Webber Scholarship, I’ve developed a deep understanding of what it takes to survive and thrive in the industry.

My acting lessons are designed to share this expertise with aspiring performers of all levels. Whether you’re honing your skills for stage auditions or mastering the subtleties of screen acting, my personalized sessions provide practical tools, hands-on guidance, and actionable feedback to help you excel. My acting lessons are tailored to your individual needs, whether you're preparing for auditions, refining your screen acting technique, or building confidence on stage. Each session begins with a warm-up to focus your mind and body, followed by practical exercises designed to enhance your skills in areas like character development, emotional truth, and script analysis. We’ll dive into specific techniques for screen acting, including understanding camera angles, hitting marks, and delivering natural, authentic performances. For stage work, we’ll explore projection, physicality, and connecting with an audience. My goal is to create a supportive, hands-on environment where you can experiment, grow, and develop the skills needed to excel in any acting medium.
